I can't get no...SATISFACTION!!
So this thanksgiving was a memorable one. We went to karla's house in regina for the weekend and had sunday lunch at her anut and uncles place, nothing crazy happening there. But after supper is when it all started. Her uncle (i won't say which one for his own protecting (unless i have to, to keep me free and clean)) told me to come with him the the stones concert in regina that night (only the biggest rock concert this side of the pond!) so i went, not knowing what to expect. We went and cought the first song as we got out of the car. But all we saw was

So needless to say i was not super happy, but then i got to thinking, i am about ten feet away from suckers how paid a lot more then me to hear the exact same thing. Plus i got to see the big screen and all the fire shows. So all in all i thought it to be a great concert. But, as it headed for the end, we were on the move again. As they were saying goodbye (before the encore) the security guards through open the big exit doors and walked away. SO....we walked in, went up the stairs and stood 23 rows on right beside the stage. I was offered tickets to that exact spot for about $230 a pair. But, i go to see the last couple songs in the encore (the best part in my opinon) for FREE!! It was great. I kinda wish i would have paid and seen the whole show from here, but i like the free tickets better. so here are some pics i got off the net of the concert. I the one with the stage, we were standing behind the fence right by that red truck.

Two things...first of all to the blood...friggin sick, yet entertaining...and i get a great mental picture of the squirting blood...like tv or no?
Second thing: thanks (for the love of all that is good and precious to mankind) for being a canuck fan...psyco's in calgary are just that...very very into the psyco's in calgary...mainly those flames...however they share a hearty distain for those oilers...so i shall continue to live among them in peace!
