Bathroom Renos

So we have started the bathroom renos. By we I mean my dad mostly with some help from Dwayne (Heather's ( my sister) fiance) and Brad when he wasn't working. It didn't take too long to rip everything out of the bathroom. The floor was stripped (all four layers of flooring). This included the first layer of ceramic tile and then three layers of linoleum. The one in the first picture is my favorite (just kidding) and was the second top layer. The subflooring was also striped and was quite moldy. The plywood in the corner where the toilet was was also cut out as it was starting to rot a bit as our toilet had leaked about a year ago. The last picture of bathroom renos is of Dwayne, Brad and my dad from the basement looking up into the bathroom. All in all everything went pretty smoothly , at least I thought so. Maybe my dad's story is a little different. There was a huge mirror on the wall, which we also took down hence the big white, off white and pink spot on the way.


The plan next is to have the bathtub and wall redone by Bath Fitter (they just put everything over top of the existing one) and then to paint. I can't wait until it is finished. Well, enjoy the pictures. Thank to everyone (dad, dwayne, brad and mom) for all your hard work. We really appreciate it.
