Tale of Two Teams

This is what ever kid dreams of while growing up. It's ingrained in our being. The life blood of this fine country we live in. The goal? To WATCH the Stanley Cup Finals!!! Here we are agian folks. East vs West. Father against Son. Was the wait and the constant exposure to Don Cherry's suits worth the wait?
YOU BETTER FREAKIN' BELIEVE ITS WORTH IT!!! This is the stanley cup playoffs!! The only thing that would make this better would be if the canucks were in it and the flames folded as a franchise. That is the real Canadian dream.

So we have a battle. Between the north and the south. Hockey Central and "rednecks are us" What can i say. I have always been an oilers fan (except when they play/beat the canucks), so i am pretty firm on my hopes for this final... Now the only question left is how hard are the oilers going to take it to those bags of Wind? I guess we will see on Monday. The only thing that i am worried about though, is the fact that they have had so much time to rest and to think. It was great to see them work hard right out of the gate. They had to work hard to make the playoffs and that transfered over to the first few rounds. They had to prove themselves to the "higher ups" of the league.
I know where i will be monday night. On the couch. but this time, there will be something good to watch. The oil cover the canes.
