Carter's Weird Face

So this funny face happened because I was trying to get Carter to smile for the camera but unfortunately I only got the end part of the smile. oh well it is cute and weird at the same time. Enjoy

Time for an update

Here is Carter in a cute outfit that I just had to take a picture of. It is hard to believe that Carter is almost three months old. He has been doing really good lately and has been having more of a schedule. He usually wakes up around 7 am for a feeding and then I will put him down again after that for my sanity so that I can sleep a bit more. Usually he will then sleep till 9 am or 10 am, which is really nice. Then lately he has been up with maybe a 10 minute cat nap in there and then goes down for a nap again around 2 pm for about three hours. This gives me time for a nap or to clean the house, make supper etc. He usually wakes up just in time for supper so that Brad and I usually cannot eat together because one has be holding Carter or paying attention to him. Then he usually just hangs out and is sometimes fussy in the evening. He usually goes to bed around 9:30 or 10:00, which is just about when I go to bed.

Carter is cuter and cuter every day. He is really starting to smile and I even heard a giggle once. He is starting to coo and make cute little noises. He is generally a happy baby although Brad would probably say otherwise as he is usually fussy in the evenings when Brad is home. Last night Brad was sweet and gave me a night with the girls while he watched Carter. It was nice to do this but I must say that I did think about them a lot and hoped that Carter wouldn't be too fussy for Brad. Well, this weekend Brad's friend Jeff is coming to visit from BC and next week I am going to visit my sister and Grandma in Manitoba and then head out for a family gathering. Unfortunately Brad isn't coming because of work and his friend being out but we will still try to have fun and I will try to take more pictures than I have lately.

Sorry there aren't more pictures. We have been a little slack on the picture side. I always think about it during the day but it is easier to take pictures when you have two people to help. Well that's all for now. Hope everyone reading this is doing good.

Carter and Sadie are best friends so I had to get a picture of them together. It was not that easy but Sadie behaved herself pretty good. So cute together. This past Sunday since Brad's parents were up we decided that it would be the perfect time to have Carter dedicated in church. So on July 29, 2007, Carter was dedicated to God. Here is a picture of the good looking men and boy (three generations) on that day.

Beach Bum

Brad's parents came out from BC this past week and so on Saturday we went and joined my parents for the day at Douglas Park where they were camping. It was Carter's first beach experience. Even though it was very hot Carter was not too fond of the cold water. However he was very adorable I thought.
