Hardest Level Of Super Mario EVER!!!

My New HOG

So i got an early birthday present this last weekend. Karla, her parents and my parents got together for this. I guess it was a hint of sorts. I wanted it so that i can ride to work. i am going to start sometime next week. im pretty pumped. now i just have to use it.

Bathroom Renos

So we have started the bathroom renos. By we I mean my dad mostly with some help from Dwayne (Heather's ( my sister) fiance) and Brad when he wasn't working. It didn't take too long to rip everything out of the bathroom. The floor was stripped (all four layers of flooring). This included the first layer of ceramic tile and then three layers of linoleum. The one in the first picture is my favorite (just kidding) and was the second top layer. The subflooring was also striped and was quite moldy. The plywood in the corner where the toilet was was also cut out as it was starting to rot a bit as our toilet had leaked about a year ago. The last picture of bathroom renos is of Dwayne, Brad and my dad from the basement looking up into the bathroom. All in all everything went pretty smoothly , at least I thought so. Maybe my dad's story is a little different. There was a huge mirror on the wall, which we also took down hence the big white, off white and pink spot on the way.


The plan next is to have the bathtub and wall redone by Bath Fitter (they just put everything over top of the existing one) and then to paint. I can't wait until it is finished. Well, enjoy the pictures. Thank to everyone (dad, dwayne, brad and mom) for all your hard work. We really appreciate it.

The end result (so far)

Here is the finished product. It doesn't really look quite that good yet because we have to redo the paint and sand it and everything and we are also getting Bath Fitter to come and put in a new bath and wall surround so that will make it look even more better. I really like the vanity so I took a big picture of that. That's all for now.

Finally the long awaited pictures

Okay so the long awaited pictures have finally arrived. The first one of course is me and Sadie just chilling. Actually I made Brad take a picture of me and Sadie so that the one of just me wouldn't be at the top. So this picture is me at 7 3/4 months. I think this is about the fifth picture that I made Brad take because the rest just weren't as good (or so I thought). So things have been going well. They thought at one point that I had an excess amount of amniotic fluid but thankfully the ultrasound showed everything was normal, and we also got a picture of the baby's face that we couldn't see at the previous ultrasound so that was neat. I still haven't figured out how to put the ultrasound picture up here because we don't have a scanner. Otherwise I would. I am feeling pretty good but am getting quite a bit more tired and can't stay on my feet for nearly as long now. I can't complain much though. The baby I think is sitting quite high and so sitting sometimes causes it to crush my ribs. It is still moving like crazy, and I can now almost always feel some sort of body part when I push on my stomach. It is pretty cool and amazing.

Easter was busy but good. My sister Heather, her fiance Dwayne and I went to Winnipeg to see my sister and brother-in-law's place and hang out with them for a bit. That was really good and thanks Joel and Alissa for putting us up. Then on Sunday we headed to Winkler to get together with my mom's side of the family. We spent the day playing games and hanging out at my grandma's care home. Brad, however, couldn't come because he had to work so I missed him a lot when I was gone.

This week is going by so fast and hopefully things will go well this weekend when my dad and Brad (when he is not working) and whoever will help (possibly Dwayne) will attempt to renovate our bathroom. I will try to put up before and after pictures of that. Well, that is about it for now.

Basement photos

So i thought that i would put a couple of pics of our new basement setup. I guess our house is open for sporting events and such. only until the baby comes. then its always on the tree house network.

So this is my new toy! There is nothing to exciting about this but I'm pumped.
