Yikes a vacuum plus I'm sitting

So the other day I pulled the vacuum out while Carter was playing on the floor. Apparently this is the first time that I vacuumed when he was in the room (I usually do it when he is sleeping). His reaction is priceless and the camera doesn't even capture it. He was so wide eyed and in shock. It was great I just had to take a picture. Then Sadie decided that she had to be in a picture too so that is what the top one is for. Carter has started to sit a little bit on his own but mainly with a blanket rolled up behind him. He is usually pretty good at staying up and just likes to push back so I have to be careful. He loves to play with his toys on the floor and "talk" to them. More to come.

Kent and Bobbi's Wedding Pictures

So here are some pictures of Kent and Bobbi's wedding. They are friends of ours from church. We also worked with them when we worked with the Jr. Youth. Heather and Carter were sure having a good time. I love this picture because they are making almost the same expression. Too bad the picture is so blurry. Carter is doing really well these days. He sleeps through the night, usually has pretty good naps and doesn't get too upset unless he is hungry or tired. All in all he is a very good baby. He is reaching for everything and is starting to be interested in the food we eat. I am so tempted to give him a taste but I know I shouldn't give in. I think we will start cereal at six months (which is in a month). It is hard to believe that he is almost five months. The time has just flown by. He is also starting to want to roll over. He is so close all the time but just needs a bit more strength. Even he gets frustrated sometimes when he can't roll over.
Here is the one picture that I got of someone in the wedding party. Brad and I aren't great with taking lots of pictures as you can tell since we only got one of the wedding party. Also, we weren't really at the greatest spot to take pictures.
Surprise. Just kidding. Kendra is not engaged. She was just trying on someone's ring, and we thought it would be a great picture. So no rumors okay? For those of you who don't know Kendra is a good friend of ours. She was my roommate at Bethany for both of our first years, and we have just stayed friends since then. It also helps that we both live in Saskatoon together. We missed you today Kendra in church. Remember no rumors.
This is Brad showing how excited he is to be dressed up and at a wedding. He was actually the videographer for the wedding, and I think he had a good time doing it. He is just putting on a face (or lack thereof) for the camera. He has been keeping busy with playing pick up hockey every Saturday night with Dwayne (my brother-in-law) and work is really starting to pick up. He just made a huge sale the other day selling about 33 TV's to one company. I am so proud of him.

So I had to try on the outfit that Carter was going to wear for the wedding ahead of time just to see if it would work. Here he is standing on the couch. Sometimes it amazes me just how strong he is. Thanks for the outfit A. Rosalie and U. Ken. Carter is also starting to sit by himself although I do have to be around to make sure he doesn't fall over. Sadie also loves Carter but I think Carter likes Sadie better. We are trying to keep Sadie from licking Carter but now that Carter is starting to reach out he encourages Sadie so it is a battle. Carter just laughs and smiles whenever Sadie is around. Especially if she is very close or licking his hands. We need to work on that. Other than that we are having a great time and keeping well.

I'm a Cutie in Overalls

So Carter is finally big enough to fit into his many pairs of overalls. I tried them on the other day and thought that they were so cute that I had to snap some pictures. Carter is at the stage now where things are going in his mouth. He loves to put his hands in his mouth and so the last picture is fitting for what he is up to these days. For the first picture I had to keep taking his hands out of his mouth so I could get a decent picture. He is pretty strong and loves to stand, sit and reach for everything. He smiles lots, although it is hard to get a good one for the camera. At this moment as I type he is sitting on my lap and trying to put my fingers in his mouth. I want to put a video up but I don't know how so if somebody does could you let me know if it is easy. Thanks. That's the update for now.

So I guess the regular season is about to start or perhaps has started already (I am not quite sure). But Brad has gotten into the hockey spirit. We bought this jersey before we had Carter and thought it would be cute on a boy or girl. Too bad Carter doesn't fit into it yet. Maybe next year or the year after.
